Community Impact
Every piece that comes through our doors fuels a circular system. In partnership with The Loop Project, we keep clothing in motion and support our community.
When our Buyer doesn’t select some of your items, you can choose to donate your remaining items. Additionally, we also accept outright clothing donations too. Here’s where they go:
Direct Community Support
Select pieces, especially practical warm layers, professional wear, and everyday essentials are sent directly to our community partner organizations, including:
Willow’s Place – Hamilton Women’s Shelter
Emma’s Place – Hamilton Women’s Shelter
The Eagle’s Nest – Flamborough Women’s Support
These items go straight to women experiencing housing insecurity or staying in local shelters, offering comfort, warmth, and dignity.
Redistribution
Other donated pieces are routed through The Loop Project to:
Local resellers and small secondhand businesses. This supports micro-businesses while keeping clothing in active, circular circulation.
Bag Sales/Rack Sales for treasure hunters and up-cyclers. These events help move textiles through the loop in a fun, accessible way.
Pop-up events, community markets, and seasonal sales, creating accessible shopping moments while reducing waste and showcasing the power of circular fashion.
Remaining items are repurposed or recycled to keep textiles out of landfill.
Impact This Year
Thanks to our community and partners:
We redirected hundreds of pieces of clothing into the hands of women trying to get back on their feet through our friends at The Eagle’s Nest.
We redirected warm winter jackets, scarves and new socks to women living on the streets or in shelters without coats through our friends at Mission Services: Willow’s Place and Emma’s Place.
We supplied inventory to local pop-ups and community markets utilizing a zero-waste business model.
We continued reducing textile waste while building a more sustainable secondhand ecosystem.
Why It Matters
The loop only works because our community participates. Every drop-off turns into something valuable—supporting women who need it, fuelling creativity, reducing waste, and strengthening circular fashion at the local level.
Thank you for being part of the loop.
